Fire.

Monday I was off work and sitting on the couch. I was mentally in Tree Hill, North Carolina scrolling through real world facebook.  I came across a post that said "Does anyone know where this smoke is coming from?" It was on our community facebook page, so I decided to read through the comments. I quickly learned that it was the apartments behind ours.

I jumped up, threw tennis shoes on and went outside.  I went to the playground to get a good view and noticed that the smoke was coming down our hill. I could hear the crackling. It wasn't long before I noticed it was in our complex.    Eight apartments were destroyed. Eight more were damaged. Two dogs were killed, more pets went missing. Three firehalls cleared, fourteen trucks appeared altogether     No one knows what caused it, or if they do, they're not releasing it. It's disheartening to think it may be something in the apartment. Of course minds and curiousity are running wild. 

Those are our neighbors... they're our apartment family. Please be praying for the families, for those displaced, for those who lost everything.
