Life Lately
Hey there, friends! It has been quite some time since I've been here, and I miss it so much. It is so hard to find time to write now that I am back at work. Believe me, this little corner of the internet isn't the only thing taking a hit. I took three vacation days this week (that were supposed to be used to keep Remington until we found a daycare from heaven!) and have used them to monogram, clean, and work on all things shutterfly!
Since I was last here, we've been a busy bunch.
Jackson's grandmother passed away. It means the world to me to be able to look back on the pictures of Remington meeting her earlier this year.
We found an absolutely wonderful daycare for Remington. We had a throw down with the daycare he was supposed to start, and found this one through many, many connections!! His other daycare pushed our start date back TWO WHOLE WEEKS! Who does that?! Remington loves being at Marcy's house. He's there with older kids, too, and even a couple of special needs kids. I love that he is so loved during the day!
We had Remington's 3 month pictures done almost two months ago. They were precious and I can't believe how much he has changed in two short months! It's hard to believe we will be doing these all over again in a month or so!
Duck hunting season starts soon, and the annual duck blind drawing is this weekend. Heaven help me, as this is our first with Remington, and I know there will be lots of days with Jackson gone in the near future.
I'm working on planning something special for Jackson's birthday... I just don't know what. I want to do something sweet with Remington, and I'm throwing around the idea of getting with our photographer for a mechanic inspired photo sesh with our sweet little. It would mean the world to Jackson to see his kiddo in his niche.
Remington has started cereal, and we hoped that it would help him sleep through the night. Alas. We are still waking up 3 times a night on a good night. It's exhausting, I just have to keep reminding myself that this won't last forever and to soak up the time that he needs me.
I've enjoyed catching upon your lives!! Thanks for being much better at this than I am! haha.
